A glossy black looker with brushed-metal accents, the P-6825 suggests a notebook that costs twice as much. Opening the lid reveals a full-size keyboard, complete with numeric keypad, and an oversized touch pad with a scroll pad on the right edge. A row of blue-backlit media buttons spans the area above the keyboard. There’s even a touch-sensitive volume pad. Swipe your finger left or right to adjust the volume—very cool.
The P-6825 measures 1.7×15.7×11.7 inches and weighs a considerable 8.3 pounds. Of course, this notebook is designed for desk duty, not travel. Its beautiful 17.1-inch wide-screen LCD tops out at 1,440×900 pixels; a 1.3-megapixel fixed-lens Webcam is embedded just above the screen.
